 D.E Training Part TWO
« Thread Started on Oct 22, 2008, 3:42pm »

As the sign-ups were closed, I have decided to finally start the training. However, here are some rules you need to follow:

-Pay close attention to what I say.
-Do not argue with me at all.
-Once you've finish your training segments, you will be given exams/tests/courses. Once you pass those, you will be an official Death Eater. I must warn you though: training lasts until graduation so do not be disappointed. Not even the best students can become a [i]real[/b] Deatheater before graduating at Hogwarts.
-Segments or units are different lessons you will learn during your training. There's going to be six units:

1. Powerful and useful offensive spells
2. Planning and tactics
3. Powerful and useful defensive spells
4. Magical artifacts (could be dark artifacts)
5. Magical/Dark creatures and their uses
6. The community; enemies and allies: What to Know and How to Use Facts Against Them

-You may back out, of course.

Here is the list of official and student Deatheaters:

  • Marcus Dracul
  • Pansy Parkinson
  • Angelique Paquet
  • Arya Lily Edwards
  • Victoria Axion
  • Bryn Madison Cupido
  • Ashley Lestrange
  • Rabastan Lestrange
  • Gabriel Leigh Riddle
  • Dance San Edwards
  • Draco Malfoy
  • Harmony Johnson
  • Josie Fox

If your name isn't on here, and if you wish for some late sign-ups, please PM me.

OOC: Right. And we'll do the training by RPing. Because it wouldn't make sense for Voldemort to arrive at Hogwarts undetected in some way and just to train a bunch of students when he has other important things to do, I'll be RPing as one of his made-up, but good Deatheaters: Jennifer.

The portrait-door slowly swung open as a cloaked deatheater quickly climbed out, her face twisted up in a determined snarl. She didn't bother closing the door for two reasons: One, it was already hard enough to find, so she didn't have to worry about intruders. Two, other deatheaters were going to arrive anyway so what was the point? With a sigh, the deatheater slowly walked toward the aisles and aisles of books, getting ready for the first segment.

"Jennifer, Jennifer." A squeaky voice said from the corner, mocking her. The deatheater had picked an interesting room for the room of requirements, one that had special devices like talking skeleton heads. Instead of being annoyed at the tease, Jennifer merely shook her head and went on getting the books. After all, she was the one who wanted the skeletons, so why be bothered by it?

The first lesson was useful offensives spells, the dark and unique ones. With her years and years of knowledge from the Dark Lord himself, added along with the plentiful supplies of textbooks, Jennifer knew that it would be enough to train the students and refresh the official deatheaters' memories. Besides, she was intelligent enough to think of a room that had multiple copies of each book. You could say that Jennifer came to Hogwarts prepared, thinking up a good, yet secretive way to get in and also a room with the needed supplies at ready. She wasn't Lord Voldemort's choice for nothing.

The only problem was the students. Would they remember how to reach the room? Jennifer had stated the correct directions anyway, what to think of, and what to look for. Everything should go smoothly - if they remember, that is.

Rolling her eyes at how ignorant students can be these days, Jennifer returned to a giant oak desk with ten or so chairs and dropped the books on the table. Then she began sorting them by segments, waiting for Lord Voldemort's followers to arrive.

Now if she touches like this

Now if she moves like this

SHAKE, SHAKE IT

The first meeting of the year, Angelique thought as she slipped out of the common room. Walking along the stone paths underground, she quickly whirled a cloak around her, turning her invisible. She was so grateful to her father sometimes. At any rate, she was now invisible to the naked eye, which would give her certain protections against the ever watchful Filch and Mrs. Norris. Who named their cat like that anyways?

Creeping up the staircases, she began making the tiresome journey up to the seventh floor. Thankfully her common room wasn't up there, she couldn't even begin to imagine the journey that she would have to take every day if it was. Although the slytherin commonroom was underground, it still had it's advantages, such as easy access. However, on the third floor, Angelique finally had it. Looking around her, she pulled out her wand before pointing it to her shoes.

"Wingardium Leviosa," she said, making her shoes levitate. She had mastered the spell in her first year, and she had gradually moved on to heavier and heavier objects, using weights like a weight lifter would. It had it's advantages, such as not having to climb all the cumbersome staircases, but if her mind strayed, it could mean deadly consequences. However, today, she managed to levitate herself up to the seventh floor landing with no difficulties.

Creeping along the seventh floor, Angelique finally arrived at the stretch of wall that she had heard about in the letter. She began pacing the floors, crossing the stretch once, two, then three times. On the third time, a door appeared in the hall, and walking towards it, she pulled it open. The first thing that she noticed upon her entry was that there were skulls everywhere. Then there were all the book shelves filled with books.

Walking over, she began browsing through the books, looking through them. Finally seeing one that was to her liking, she pulled it off the shelf and was about to sit down when she realized that she still had her invisibility cloak on. Pulling it off, she stuffed it into the bag that she was carrying just for that purpose. Now, she began to read about various dark spells and the incantations for them.

Josie nervously stowed her wand back inside her jacket pockets before continuing down the hall. She'd just came from her shortcut, one she had found when she was a third year, but still one that she'd rather keep to herself. Also, she was sure that wherever she was right now would clearly be forbidden to the teachers - if they caught her, that is. Sighing with relief when Josie spotted the turnoff, the Slytherin hurried around it once, twice, and then again, concentrating hard on what the messege said. Her mind and thoughts had to be precise; she was told that whoever made the room had also casted enchantments around it, to make it harder to get into then your average room of requirements.

Opening her eyes, Josie found herself staring at a door, about the size of the kitchen portrait. Reaching her hand out, the Slytherin pulled the brass handle open and then shuffled inside, letting the door swing shut behind her and disappear with a soft "pop". Taking in a shuddering breath, Josie sped up until she was finally in the center of the room - the peculiar room. It looked like a library, but one that was decorated specially for Halloween or something, or at least that was what Josie thought when she spotted the skull heads. The skulls seemed playfull, like they were laughing at her, but she didn't let that bother any part of her body. Being bothered by something was distraction, and Josie needed to concentrate more than ever in order to be come a full fledged deatheater.

It took her a minute or two to finally realize that she wasn't the only one in here, although that was obvious from the start. Josie saw Angelique, the girl she'd met at the owlery. Surprised that she would actually be a deatheater trainee like herself, the seventh year turned to the other figure standing beside the table in the room. The figure was hooded...mysterious but demanding, sending chills down Josie's spine. She knew almost at once that the deatheater there wasn't someone you could just mess with. Realization struck her that the person was probably their instructor.

Deciding that speaking would be weird in an empty space like the room, Josie crossed over to the other side and plopped down on one of the armchairs, for once uncertain on what she should be doing.

Pansy could hardly breath, as she had gotten to the bottom of the stairs and took a left. She never thought how quickly this night would approach her. The hallways were quiet and barren, for it was quite late and most students would be in their Common Rooms, working on late homework and heading to bed. Pansy could feel her neck and cheeks grow warmer and warmer as she approached the hallway in which the big door to the Room of Requirement was to appear. ..concentrate.....concentrate.. Pansy said over and over in her head, keeping her quivering eyes opened.

As she had highly hoped for, the door to the room had appeared in the distance. Pansy froze in her spot, embracing the exciting, yet terrifying moment. Tonight would be the night where Pansy, along with her fellow Slytherins, would begin her training to become an official Death Eater for Lord Voldermort. Although the thought was quite frightening, she was glad that she would be making her parents proud of her.

Pansy opened the door, as it creaked open. She peered into the room behind the door and saw some familiar faces - her good friend Angelique, browsing though shelves of textbooks which appeared to be quite old....and a familiar face she'd seen sitting around the Slytherin Common Room a multiple of times - Josie Fox...gazing around the room, her legs crossed gracefully in one of the desks.

Pansy peered around the room, what appeared to be another library - only much darker and creepier looking. Pansy nervously walked over to one of the tables in the corner and sat down, watching her peers...awaiting for the lesson to begin.

Jennifer brushed back her golden locks quickly, skimming through one textbook titled Jinxes and Hexes of the Dark, one book recommended to her by her parents when she herself had taken training under the Dark Lord. The chapters were each about twenty pages long and filled with countless information and details on how to cast each spells. Grinning, Jennifer slammed the book shut and moved onto the next one, glad that she had found one that would be useful. The next book was called Jinxes for the Jinx, useful jinxes but not all that powerful to her likings. Still, it would be a good beginning for the trainees.

The door to the room opened and shut with a soft creak and a satisfying pop. Knowing that it was probably a student deatheater ready for their training, Jennifer didn’t look up from her book, letting the student do…whatever. The door opened again and disappeared once more. Jennifer ignored the other student too. It would be too early to start welcoming them anyway as there were only two in the room. She let out a deep breath and started sorting the books into two piles, one for beginning and the other for later on in the week.

But Jennifer couldn’t ignore the Slytherins anymore. Straightening up as the third deatheater trainee came into the room, she pushed the beginners pile forward with the multiple copies of the books for the first lesson. “I’d suggest walking over there and grabbing one off of the pile.” Jennifer said, gesturing toward the copies. “Since you guys are obviously only the first trainees here, you might as well browse through the chapters to get a head start as a reward for your earliness. The first lesson will be on offensive spells.” And with that, the deatheater returned to the table and started getting the second copies ready.

As Pansy sat in the seat, looking around the dark room, twisting a lock of her black hair in her petite, fair fingers, she snapped her head towards the mysterious girl's direction as she spoke. Their teacher, Pansy had assumed as the girl told them to grab one of the books off of the pile she had made.

Pansy stood up and started heading towards the pile of books, staring nervously at the floor. She was quite intimidated by the teacher....maybe because it was the fact that possibly Voldermort himself had sent her to teach them. Pansy snatched a text from the pile, and returned to her seat.

"Hexes For Beginners" Pansy murmured quietly to herself, as she sat down. She then flipped to the first chapter of the dusty, worn textbook and began to read.

Angelique's eyes skimmed through the book as she stayed curled up in her chair. Hmmm... most of this sounded interesting and she just needed a bit of time to practice them. Noting down a few of the more interesting spells, she was about to turn the page. However, the blond lady then plunked down a pile of books at the other end of the table.

Sighing, she marked the page that she had been on before charming it so that it reshelved itself in one of the many book cases. Now, she summoned one of the textbooks, to lazy to move. Propping her feet up on the chair in front of her, she flipped open the pages of the book. Pulling out a sheet of parchment, she also pulled out her quill. Bewitching it, it began to fly over the parchement, taking down the important notes from the book.

This left Angelique free to continue reading the book at a leisurely pace, she didn't even have to take notes because the magically charmed quill did it for her. It was somewhat interesting however, but most of the things she had already learned at Beauxbatons. It was always nice to refresh her memory though, so Angelique continued to read through the book.

Harmony started to walk towards the Room of Requirements. It was the first death eater training, and Harmony was starting to feel nervous, and she had no idea why. She knew she was running late so she ran along the corridors and came to where she needed to be. She walked past a few times, and then the door opened, she quickly entered in, hoping that she wasn't too late. She felt relieved when she saw that not everyone was there yet.

Marcus walked into the Room of Requirement, full of anxiousness and nervousness. Of course, Marcus wanted to be a Death Eater (and eventually the new Dark Lord). It would be great he thought to himself. But he was nervous being the only half-blood there. He walked in and got the instructions from Jennifer, their Death Eater instructor. He then picked up the book on Hexes and sat next to Pansy. He then started to read the book.

Draco hurried as fast as he could to the Room of Requirements. He was late for deatheater training. He finally got there. He paced back and fourth at where the door should be; thinking really hard. The door finally appeared. He creaked it open and peered in. He saw that everyone was there. He walked in, shaking a little. He was scared. He saw that everyone was reading a book on hexes. He walked to where the books where stacked, and he picked one up and went to go sit in a corner by himself.

Jennifer looked around, satisfied and yet still slightly disappointed as she surveyed the students and full-fledged deatheaters in front of her. She was surprised that there were only two adult deatheaters in the room, while the rest were made up of trainees. Jennifer had expected quite the opposite - the students being late and plenty of actual followers.

But that wasn't the case, either. The students arriving now were indeed, late, but still forgivable. Who Jennifer couldn't forgive though, would be the late adult deatheaters. They were supposed to be professional - set a good example. But the students seemed to be doing better!

Turning to Rabastan and Ashley, Jennifer sighed heavily. "And of course, there are still a couple who are tardy." She murmured, nodding her head toward the two deatheaters, acknowledging their presence respectfully. I might as well begin the lesson then, Jennifer thought darkly, her whole body twitching with annoyance. Abandoning her pile, the deatheater walked to the middle of the room. Pausing, she pointed her wand at the first book of the first pile, and the book flew over to her outstretched hand. Letting out a deep breath, Jennifer held it out so that everyone could see. "Welcome to your deatheater training, students." She began, and then hurried on, brushing pass the introduction hastily. "Considering that some of you might not have mastered the needed beginner spells, we will practice those first before getting onto some more...advanced magic. Ashley and Rabastan," she turned to the two adult deatheaters meaningfully. "Please monitor their work."

Jennifer turned to the first chapter of Jinxes and Hexes of the Dark and then skimmed through the first few pages. "You will be practicing your aims for the stunning spell for about ten minutes. We don't want to waste time, as this will be just review. All of you are old enough to know how to cast the spell now, but aims will take some work. Everyone, grab a partner - no more than two to a group - and head on over to the other side." She motioned to the left side with several cushions all lined up neatly against the stone wall. "Practice your aims by sending your spell at the cushions. Everyone take turns with the same cushion. This shouldn't be too hard." Jennifer nodded for the students to begin.
