Welcome to Hogwarts: Previous Beginning! We've been up for about a couple of months now, and after a few activity checks, we are still going strong. This RP can be in any season, but there is still a site plot which will change each term/year. We are currently in term three right now, year 1995. - Quidditch Practice will start once we have all of the House Captains. The Gryffindor Team just needs a chaser and two more beaters! The Ravenclaw Team just needs a captain, a chaser, and a beater. The Slytherin Team needs two more chasers!

Go to Character Creation after reading the rules to create your biography as either a student character, or adult character. Please follow the order of the boards!

I’m new to Role Play? How do I do it?
First, I’d like to say something: Role Play like a good writer you are…please! Don’t talk in chat, make short posts—be the educated person you are. This is a literate RP, but we still accept beginners. If you talk in chat though, or you have a lot of spelling and grammar mistakes, or very short posts, I will hunt you down! (Just kidding…) But please try your best.

Where can I post my Relationships, Character Plots, Diaries, etc.?

Classes Questions? When do I post in classes? Where are they? Etc.
Your classes are at the Classes Corridors. There will be a list of the years that are required to take the class in the board. The classes are only used for a guide and extra study session for the exams in which you have to pass in order to move up a year. This also means that you do not have to sign-up for the classes. However, if you do, you must reply to each of the lessons. Term curriculum may be found at the bottom of the board. This will tell you when the lessons are and when you should post. Remember to keep up with your work! Students must pass at least 4 of your classes/sections in the School Exam to pass their year.
Where can I post my suggestions?
You have suggestions? SWEET! Post them at the Help and Comments Board! Staff and members will be more than happy to review your suggestions.
To report spamming or abuse of the site at the wrong place?
Sure, there is a special spamming place to have fun, but if you find anyone who is spamming at a different board, report it immediately to the staff members.
How do I affiliate or advertise my site/forum?
Simply go to the Floo Network System! A staff member will come by and look at your site and either approve or deny it.
I am new to this site and I'm completely and utterly lost, not to mention nervous to reply to very active threads and boards. Any advice and words of comfort?
Well it's great that you're new! Even if you are, you don't have to worry about replying to big threads or anything! First, you can introduce yourself HERE to get to know other members better and so that other members can get to know you better. You can ask questions there too, shout out suggestions, and welcome other members warmly. You can ask people if anyone would like to RP with you - friendly things like that. You may also get to know one another in the Cbox below (make sure to follow the rules) and also through RPing. If you're really nervous about this whole "RPing" thing, you can go to the Thread Chamber and post a thread, asking if anyone would like to RolePlay with you.

Earning Points
x Answering questions correctly- Points will vary x Doing a good deed - Points will vary x Getting high scores on tests or exams- 10 points x Special events/contests- 15 points
Losing Points
x Being tardy- Varies by teacher x Breaking the rules of a certain class- Varies by teacher x Fighting- Vary x Improper School Attire- 5 points x Disrespecting a teacher- Varies by teacher x Running in the halls- 5 points
House Cup
Whichever house has the highest points will win the House Cup of Hogwarts, a great honor. The end of the year feast will be decorated with their colors, which also means that the skin of the forum will be different too. The House Cup winner will be announced at the side-table, and also put in the Trophy Room board so students can come and go and skim through the previous House Cups.
