Welcome to Hogwarts: Previous Beginning! We've been up for about a couple of months now, and after a few activity checks, we are still going strong. This RP can be in any season, but there is still a site plot which will change each term/year. We are currently in term three right now, year 1995. - Quidditch Practice will start once we have all of the House Captains. The Gryffindor Team just needs a chaser and two more beaters! The Ravenclaw Team just needs a captain, a chaser, and a beater. The Slytherin Team needs two more chasers!

Scarlett Dracul looked through the books on the tall shelves of the Hogwarts Library. She pondered through the names on the spines of the books but none of them in that section were what she was looking for. Scarlett had never had a chance like this to find out more on what she was, for she had basically lived in an Orphanage her whole life, not knowing what she was until she had read the letter her father had left for her. When not living in the Orphanage but in a muggle foster home, she didn't want to pester or frighten the family she was living with about it.
She was half a vampire, and knew nothing about vampires other than they needed blood in order to survive....but the blood situation wasn't a problem. Every night before bed, she would take out a glass bottle which was full of animal blood and would drink it quick so no one would see. Scarlett never wanted anyone to know what her other half was, becasue she was afriad she might be completely alone, along with others thinking she was a freak or a monster or something.
As Scarlett was looking amongst the books on the shelves, in dissapoinment that she could find nothing, she stumbled into somebody. Scarlett fell onto the floor.

Jake walked (once again) into the library.But accually looking for a book this time.He had given up on Marietta for the day.She had been being very reluctant."What is her problem" he said to himself walking down one of the rows of book shelfs.Jake had been mubling to himself instead of paying attention and befor he knew it he was looking at a Slytherin girl on the floor."Oh jeez,I'm sorry"HE said holding out his hand to help her up.

As Scarlett was collecting her books, cursing silently under her breath her scowling face looked up at a helping hand. She looked up into the face of a kind-looking boy, a Hufflepuff, by the looks of his uniform. She nodded and taking his hand, she was on her feet. Seeming as Scarlett was quite shy and never really opened herself up to others, she beared a small smile.
" Scarlett, and you?" She asked the hufflepuff boy, but now looking amongst the shelves once again.

Jake looked at the girl.She seemed quite friendly for a Slytherin girl "I'm Jake" he said to her smiling."I'm sorry i walked into like that,i was just so lost in thought". he looked at the books that she was holding."Vampires,eh?I know a Vampire,pretty cool dude" he said laughing a little.His mother didn't exactly approve of him being friends of one of his fathers old friends son.BUt then again,she didn't exactly approve of anything that had to do with the wizarding world.

Scarlett nodded Jake's apologies, still browsing through the books, and found one that looked quite tatty. She put it underneath her arm along with some other books.
" Uh huh...yup," Scarlett replied to his apoligies, avoiding his eye contact still.
Though, she stopped in her track and turned around to face Jake, when he noticed her taken interest in Vampire books.
Scarlett blushed a little as she talked about the books she held underneath her arm. " Yeaaa...Well, I-i just find them interesting, heh, it's not like I...am one o-or anything"
Her face lit up a bit when the Hufflepuff had mentioned that he was friends with a Vampire. " Really? Does he...does he go to Hogwarts? " Scarlett asked, quite interested. Maybe, just maybe if this Vampire did go to Hogwarts, she could talk to him, or her concering the abouts of Vampires.

Jake shook his head,"no,he graduated outa here just last year.".Jake looked at the girl,at first she seemed so nervouse about the whole sittuation and know she wanted to meet his friend.There was a small moment of silance that Jake broke."but i could introduce you if you are that intrested in meeting him."He said to her hoping that meeting him would raise her spirits."ya know,theres also Marcus Dracule,hes a vamp,but he isn't as nice as you."JAke smiled.She realy was a nice girl.one of the nicest Slytherin he had ever met besides his best friend Aimy.

" Ohh, I see.." Scarlett said quite shyly, her head hanging a smidge in dissapointment. She turned the corner and browsed the next shelf of books. Jake had offered to introduce her to the graduated Vampire, but she just shook her head silently, picking up another book and flipping the pages.
When Jake had mentioned there was a student, another Vampire who's name was Marcus Dracul, another Dracul! Scarlett was really surprised by the news, she had thought that she was the only Vampire at the school. Scarlett was full of pure delight.
" Yes! I'd really like to meet this Marcus." Scarlett said. Scarlett blushed and had gone quite again when Jake had mentioned that she was nice.

"Tottaly"Jake said smiling."I mean besides you theres only Aimy and Abby.They're 7th years,And some of the nicest ones,but your tottaly up to them on my nice list,Probably nicer,Aimy likes to hurt me."Jake stopped as he found himself rambling.He laughed a little."sorry,but i guess i could try to get AImy to introduce you to Marcus,he wouldn't talk to a Hufflepuff but he would talk to one of his own."Jake looked at his watch.Aimy wouldn't be in the common room for a while,she was probably still at the quidditch pitch."I could take you to see Aim now if you want,she's probably still at the pitch,She's the captian of the slytherin team.Or whenever realy its not hard to find her..."Jake looked down then up at Scarlett again,"So besides vampires what intrests you?" He asked trying to start conversation,he was still trying to figure her out.
