This RP can be in any season, but there is still a site plot which will change each term/year. We are currently in term three right now, year 1995. - Quidditch Practice will start once we have all of the House Captains. The Gryffindor Team just needs a chaser and two more beaters! The Ravenclaw Team just needs a captain, a chaser, and a beater. The Slytherin Team needs two more chasers!

Welcome to Hogwarts! Here you will be enriched in our powerful and great magical lessons, but before you do that, please have a look at our rules. You should always obey them to avoid detention of any kind or to be expelled. So please look carefully and remember them all by heart because this is just the beginning of your future at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Step 1: Read these rules! Step 2: Head on over to Character Applications to create your own character or request a canon! Step 3: Go to Celebrity Claim to claim your character's celebrity. Step 4: Explore around the site! Step 5: Roleplay MADNESS! RP LIKE CRAZZY!!

1. Keep swearing to minimum. If somehow, you REALLY need to swear, you can, but other than that, DO NOT swear.
2. Don't talk about inappropriate things. If you need to, please put a [M] next to your thread title so people know that it's Mature.
3. Don't criticize others unless you have to. You may, obviously, in RP. But in general, DO NOT.
4. No god-moding. This is where in role play, you control other character's doings and sayings. Please do not do that. If we catch you doing it often, then you will have a warning. If you ignore us and continue to do it, you will be expelled.
5. I know this can be a bit unfair, but if a final desicion is made by me or another 'important' staff member, then that's that. No more fighting, bickering, whatever. That's it.

6. Signatures should not be over 470x300 pixels for it would stretch the page if it is more. Avatars should not be over 100x100 pixles either.
7. Because this is not a one-liner RP, all posts must at least fill up the "quick reply box" at the bottom of each thread. NO ONE LINERS
8. Remember: Nobody is perfect, so you cannot have a perfect character. Any "perfect" characters will not be accepted.
9. Your character application must be accepted before making any posts. If we catch you making a thread/post without your application being accepted, it will be automatically deleted.
10. Make sure your display name is a real name! It cannot be like "Hpluver89". It should be like "Hannah Jenkins", or 'Kelsy Newell".
11. Now I've been thinking about this, and you may have more than one character, and now it is unlimited! However, you can only have up to two canons. UNLIMITED ORIGINALS. 11a. You must have a seperate account for each character. I know I don't have a seperate account, but I won't really be using Albus that much anyway. He's my character to fit with the plot/story. 11b. All of your multiple characters may not be on the Quidditch team. This is so spots may still be open for people who don't have multiple characters.
12. This is very important: If you join and appear inactive for one week, without letting me know, you will be deleted/expelled. This is so our forum is much more neater and organized, so when you join, make sure you are active for at least a week.
13. I will allow very creative threads, but make sure that they follow the plot and actually make sense. So no running away from giants in the middle of the Forbidden Forest because how the heck did giants even get there? You may have getting attacked by merpeople though, in the black lake with gillyweed in your mouth since merpeople live there.
14. When you make your character, remember one thing: You cannot be related to anyone too confusing. Like you can't be the son/daughter of Dumbledore or Voldemort or Tom Riddle's brother or whatever. That would mean a lot of things affecting the series and in Voldemort's case, the Slytherins.
15. You can't just say you're a vampire, a werewolf, or whatever without filling out an application for it! Please don't because it can get confusing and annoying. If you want to apply as any of those positions, including Prefect, Head Girl/Boy, etc., please fill out the correct appliction (found at "Extra Applications" and "Special Abilities") and then PM your completed form to a staff member.
16. No advertising randomly in posts! Unless you are told to do so, or unless you post at the correct board (in this case, the Advertising/Affiliating board), you cannot ADVERTISE! You may, however, put the link or banner in your signature or avatar, but THAT'S IT.
Thank you for reading the rules and did you find the password? You mean you didn't see the funky underlined letters or anything? Okay, if you didn't, then you either didn't read the rules or you didn't pay attention to what you were reading. Find the letters and they spell out the password you need in order to create a character. You don't have it? Well read it again!
-Special powers will be accepted, but also limited. If you want to have special powers, please go to the 'Special Ability' Thread, which will be located at "Other Applications" board, underneath all the boards where you create your characters.
- If you want a canon, take a look at the canon thread. Then post a biography on the canon at 'Pending Applications' board so it can be looked at.
- One term is two months, or eight weeks.
- If you want to try-out for Quidditch, try-outs will be posted at your House common rooms.
- There will be monthly Activity Checks, just to delete the inactive accounts so they don't wreck the internet space. So stay active if you, obviously, want to stay!

CBOX RULES
You might have noticed that there aren't any rules posted beside the Cbox at the very bottom of the forum. Well lucky you, because you have a few more rules to follow! The rules for the Chat Box may be found here:
1. NO SPAMMING. Basically, no posting or continously typing random stuff for no reason.
2. NO ADVERTISING. Unless under special circumstances of course or allowed by a staff member. Advertisements and affiliates are either in your signature or at the correct board of the forum.
3. NO IMPERSONATIONS. Pretty straight-forward: Do not impersonate someone else with their name. Remember: I CAN SEE YOUR IP ADDRESS!
4. NO SEVERE SWEARING, SEXUAL TALK/EXPRESSION, AND ANGER ISSUES. In other words: Keep everything to a PG-13 and be nice!
5. Obey practically the forum rules!
Breaking these rules constantly can result from temporary to permanent banning from the forum and/or chat box. Thank you for taking your time to view these rules!
